A signed Messi jersey, a Salah twist, and one winner

The 2026 World Cup deserved more than a discount code. So we partnered with Legends Own the Game, a leading local seller of high-value collectibles, to put something genuinely special on the line: a signed Lionel Messi jersey worth over AED 15,000. And because collectors deserve collectibles, every purchase during the campaign came with a free pack of Topps collectible cards.

Entering was simple. Follow both brands on Instagram, make a purchase from Mama Booza during the campaign window, and you were in the draw. Ice cream in hand, cards in the delivery, and a shot at a piece of football history.

Then the tournament did what tournaments do. The Argentina vs Egypt game turned controversial, opinions flew in every direction, and we listened to the public mood. Mid-campaign, we added a signed Mo Salah shirt to the prize pool, giving the eventual winner the choice between the two. Messi or Salah, the winner would decide, which felt like the fairest way to settle a debate nobody was going to win online.

When the window closed, the winner was randomly selected: congratulations to Elissar El-Gore, who walked away with a choice most football fans can only dream about. To everyone who entered, followed and ripped open a Topps pack hoping for a hit, thank you for playing. The World Cup comes around every four years. We would suggest keeping an eye on us well before the next one.
