The cranberry is one of only three fruits native to North America, cultivated by the Wampanoag people for over 12,000 years. Paired with white chocolate, it became one of the most iconic holiday cookie combinations of the 20th century, passed between neighbours on Christmas trays, wrapped in cellophane, never quite replicated by anyone else's recipe.
The frosted cranberry cookie only comes out in December. We thought that was unfair.
We took the exact cookie, white chocolate chunks, tart cranberry bits, buttery biscuit, crumbled it, and churned it into something you can have all year.
